    The Buzon story

    The creation of the Buzon® pedestal

    1983

    Claude Buzon starts out on his own selling AstroTurf®, synthetic grass.

    1987

    Creation of Ateliers BUZON S.P.R.L.

    1992

    Creation of the first Buzon adjustable pedestal.

    1996

    After years of helping his father behind the scenes, Laurent officially joins the company and sets out to conquer new markets.
    Thanks to his energy and willing, Buzon pedestals begin to be used in some of the world’s biggest skyscrapers.

    1996

    Buzon pedestals are installed on the balconies of the PETRONAL TWIN TOWERS in Kuala Lumpur

    1997

    Creation of the DPH range, the family’s eldest progeny. The levelling system receives a Batimat innovation prize silver medal.

    2002

    The company moves to the Hauts Sarts industrial zone and changes corporate form: Buzon Pedestal International S.A.

    2008

    Creation of the BC range, the family’s artist.

    2009

    Claude Buzon sent on a royal mission to Mexico.

    2010

    Creation of the PB range, everyone’s friend. Ideal for projects in residential zones.

    2014

    Just after graduating with a Master’s Degree in Sales Management, Laure Buzon joins the family business as Financial and Human Development Director.
    Since then she has taken on a number of major projects including ISO standards certification, the implementation of a new ERP, calculating the company’s carbon footprint among many others.

    2015

    Laurent and Claude Buzon sent on a royal mission to Singapore.

    2016

    Claude Buzon sent on a Royal mission to Japan.

    2016

    Buzon receives ISO 9001: 2008 certification.

    2016

    Buzon pedestals are installed in the base of the SHARD in London, one of Europe’s tallest skyscrapers.

    2017

    Buzon receives ISO 9001:2015 certification and becomes CO2 neutral. Creation of the Buzon nursery in Madagascar with more than 500 trees planted. Find out more about our environmental commitments.

    2017

    Buzon invites its global partners, suppliers, customers and staff to get together to celebrate its 30th anniversary. 30 years of success certainly deserved a big celebration.

    2018

    Construction of new offices and warehouse buildings.
